Flood Warning
Issued by the National Weather Service at 3:35 PM EDT on March 18, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Ocmulgee River near Abbeville.
* Until further notice.
* At 2 PM Thursday the stage was 13.4 feet... and steady.
* Minor flooding will continue.
* Flood stage is feet.
* The river will begin falling early Friday morning... and continue
falling slowly over the next few days.
* At 13 feet... minor flooding of lowlands adjacent to the river
continue to expand into the flood plain. Flooding of the nearby
park and parking lot at the boat ramp also expands.
